Business Entrance

Starting a company is a dozen small tasks in the right order, and most people do them in the wrong order, or leave two undone for a year. Business Entrance does the whole sequence at once, with the year's tax plan already in view, and then stays on as the company's Business Agent and Treasurer if you want the administration handled.

The sequence

Formed, registered, banked, staffed, planned

  1. Choose the entity and the election

LLC, S corporation or C corporation is a tax decision as much as a legal one. It is made here with your Wealth Map and your other income in view, not from a default.

  2. Form and register

Formation documents, state registration, the operating agreement or bylaws, and the federal EIN, prepared and filed through our corporate-services fulfillment partner.

  3. Open the business bank account

A modern online business banking platform, with multiple accounts for taxes, payroll and operations so the money is separated from day one. We tell you exactly which documents the bank needs, five at most.

  4. Set up payroll

Owner payroll and the first employees, through our payroll partner, timed to the election so reasonable compensation and payroll taxes are handled correctly from the first check.

  5. Plan the first year

Estimated taxes, the retirement plan, the accountable plan, and the books, set up before the first quarter closes rather than reconstructed at tax time.

Then stay: Business Agent and Treasurer

After launch, IBMC can continue as the company's registered Business Agent, receiving official and legal notices, and as its Treasurer, handling the financial administration: bank account oversight, bill payment and receipt capture, payroll coordination, sales-tax and annual-report filings, and the monthly books. The arrangement is month to month, so it lasts exactly as long as it is useful.

For a busy professional starting a side business, a family adding a management company or a short-term rental, or an entrepreneur adding a fourth entity to three existing ones, this is the difference between a structure that works and one that quietly falls behind.

A first talk is free, and it is short.

Bring what you have, even if it is a rough number and a rough timeline. Martin will tell you plainly what can be done now and what has to wait. No pressure to sign anything.
